At the bottom of the picture are hundreds of cement blocks making up the Holocaust Memorial. The blocks, located near Hitler's Bunker, commemorate the murder of 6 million European Jews at the hands of Hitler and the Nazi regime. The floor rises and falls like waves and the blocks stand about 10 ft. is some locations. The idea was to create groundlessness, instability, and disorientation...it got Pierce and I as we were almost lost in the middle and running into others walking in different directions.

The top is the Reichstag, the seat of the German Parliament, once located right next to the Berlin Wall. The glass dome has a walkway all the way to the top of the dome overlooking Berlin. I'm sure it would have been an awesome site to see but the line was way too long.
